On 17th April 2024, Rajab Al-Reefi, a skater living in Gaza and friend of SkatePal posted a clip of himself doing a kickflip on a piece of rubble in the aftermath of air strikes. Described in one comment as “a historic and iconic moment in skateboarding”, we designed this tee with Rajab to immortalise this moment and raise awareness of his emergency crowd-funding appeal.
The front text displays a message from Rajab, in both Arabic and English. The back graphic displays a sequence of his kickflip.
100% of the proceeds from this product will be donated to Rajab’s GoFundMe, supporting him, his family and community during this time.

When I’m not skating, I have a lot on my mind and feel incredibly stressed, but when skating I am a different person. I feel calm. Skateboarding gives me the spirit of resistance.
