What we do.

Since 2013, our ongoing presence and award-winning projects have reached hundreds of young people across the West Bank and won recognition from supporters around the world.  We work with communities affected by the ongoing conflict, facing severely limited access to cultural, educational and sporting opportunities.

WHY PALESTINE?

More than half of all Palestinians living in the occupied territories are under 21 years old. Yet for many young people across the West Bank and Gaza, cultural, educational and sporting opportunities are severely limited.

Help us support the fast-growing skateboarding community in Palestine.

WHY SKATEBOARDING?

Skateboarding has the potential to dissolve barriers between class, race, age and gender. It isn’t hierarchical - it doesn’t matter if you’re a beginner or a professional, a child or an adult.

Skateboarding is fun!

"Skateboarding is not for a specific type of person, skateboarding is for everyone no matter what religion, colour or place, it’s for everyone."

- Malak, local volunteer in Ramallah

Since 2019, we have been working together with Akwaaba, a social centre for migrants based in Stoke Newington, hosting bi-weekly, volunteer-run skateboarding classes for young people.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions these classes have been on hold, and we are working with Akwaaba to get them back up and running again soon.

If you’re interested in getting involved, get in touch.
